Pediatric Minimal Access Conference ‘PESICON 2025’ in Kochi

Recently, I had the privilege of attending the Pediatric Minimal Access conference 'PESICON 2025' in Kochi, Kerala, hosted by Amrita Institute of Medical Sciences. The event, under the guidance of Emeritus professor Dr. Mohan Abraham, featured the expertise of the PESI team, including Dr. Robert Antony and Dr. Prakash Aggarwal.

The conference showcased a wealth of scientific content, offering an academic feast and remarkable hospitality. Witnessing the advancements in Pediatric Minimal Access surgery, particularly in Paediatric Robotic Surgery, was truly impressive, highlighting the high level of work being done in our country.

During the event, I had the opportunity to present three papers focusing on our experiences with Robotic Assisted Laparoscopic Ureteric Reimplantation, Robotic Assisted Laparoscopic Ureteroureterostomy, and a video presentation on Robotic Assisted Thoracoscopic repair of Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia.

I extend my gratitude to the organizing team and the Scientific committee for curating an outstanding program, seamlessly executed, which included the Bolgatty cruise tour, cultural activities, and culminated in a memorable gala dinner.

Meeting esteemed professionals in the field of Pediatric surgery and reconnecting with friends and colleagues from across the country made this experience truly enriching.
