Case I

12 year old male child presented in emergency as a case of Road traffic accident - He had multiple injuries and fractures but the main severe injury was an iron boulder had fallen over the child and pierced the chest of the child causing damage to the chest and leading to exposure of the lungs outside. The child was managed in PICU and taken for surgery and the repair was done. The child is doing fine now.

Case II

4 year old child presented with abdominal distension and vomiting due to obstruction in the intestines. On surgery there was congenital anomaly known as Meckel’s diverticulum. The diverticulum was removed and intestines were rejoined.

Case III

1 year old baby had a large tumor in the abdomen, which was arising from the liver. This kind of tumor in children is known as Hepatoblastoma. The child underwent liver resection and then received chemotherapy.
